BE BOLD :: How to wear bold Summer prints

Hey guys

Summer is right around the corner and that means bold prints and floral will be everywhere. It can be pretty intimating to step out your comfort zone and wear bold prints specially if you are used to a neutral colour pallet (like myself) but wearing bright colours and prints can really impact your mood and make you feel summer ready.

So here are a few of my tips for wearing bold prints this summer!!!

1. Pairing with neutrals

To balance out the bold colours and prints make sure to pair the piece with other neutral pieces so it tones it down slightly. Here I decided to pair the floral shirt with grey and black as the shirt had some tones of grey to it

2. Minimalistic jewellery

A key thing to remember when planning an outfit is to have ONLY ONE STATEMENT PIECE. This is very important, as having too much going on in your outfit will make it very distracting. Instead of adding a statement necklace to your floral/bold prints try and go for very dainty pieces to really make your outfit look chic. Here I paired it with a few gold pieces as dainty gold pieces will always make any outfit look chic.

3. Nude lips

I always believe nude lips and make up goes well with an outfit with loads of colour. Of course you can always rock a bold lip colour if you want but having a nude colour maybe easier to pull off with an already colourful piece.
