Bold Burgundy: Knit Dress & Black Boots

Burgundy is a absolutely beautiful colour, it compliments all skin tones and looks absolutely amazing in the colder months. This simple burgundy dress is made from knit material making it even more appropriate for the weather, plus as it is a turtle neck dress it can help cover the chest and keep you warmer. Pairing this dress with black boots and tights really helps bring out the colour even more. This look is very modern and casual yet looks very elegant.
I paired this dress with a large black coat to protect me from the cold as it can be pretty chilly in England. However the all black look with a pop of colour can be a great way to start wearing bold coloured items without drawing too much attention if you typically don't like to wear too many bold colours.
Accessories for this outfit were kept to a minimum with a few gold pieces such as the necklace and rings. I used a thin black belt to help elongate the waistline and bring everything together.
