Hey guys,

Today I bring you a post from the beautiful city of Rome. I absolutely fell in love with its livelihood, culture and everything it had to offer. The experience was one of the best of my whole entire life!

As it had already been a month of my exchange and living miles away from my friends and family I was starting to feel extremely home sick and I really wasn’t sure about visiting another country so soon. However my friend convinced me it would help me feel better and it did, not only did I have an amazing time I also made a friend for life and an awesome travel buddy :)

The view over Italy was spectacular!!! The mountains and clouds were breath taking and made me look forward to all the adventures that were yet to come over the next few days. As we arrived quite late we still wanted to make the most of the day and decided to head out in the main city area to explore. We ended up near the Spanish steps and the view from the top was just crazy, it’s hard to capture the beauty of the place in words (even the pictures do it no justice). The place was extremely crowded even at night however even among the crowd the view still makes you feel at peace.

We decided to explore the city as much as we could before we went back to the hotel to sleep, some how we ended up near the Colosseam after walking around all the main tourist attractions at night. It was really interesting and lively, in one corner there were little puppet street performers and in another there were artists working on beautiful paintings.

Even though the scenery, culture and history were all amazing to experience and learn about the best thing hands down was the ice cream. I have never seen or heard of some of the flavours we had but it was great I loved it and you can’t go Italy without having gelato!!!

To sum up I fell in love with the place within a few short hours it really was amazing and I would recommend you to visit. Anyways thank you so much for watching I really hope you enjoyed this post and I hope to see you all soon. Bye :)
